  • Climate activists from the Building Block, one of three grops of activists, are making their way across fields and passed police to join the ongoing blockade of Coryton oil refinery. The out numbered police manage to stop a few activists and confiscate some materials but fail to make any arrests. The activists are all peaceful and avoid arrest only by peaceful means, by out-running police and out number them.<br />

The police Forward Intelligence Team has arrived and are photographing activists to identify them later. One way of rying to avoid being identified is using an umbrella to block the view.<br />

Tall tripods with people on top make it very difficult for the police to clear with out risking causing injuries.<br />

An activist is arrested for jumping on a truck bringing equipment after he handed himself over. The struggle against fracking in Lancashire has been going on for years. The fracking company Quadrilla is finally ready to bring in a drill tower to start drilling and anti-frackinhg activists are waiting in front of the gates to block the equipment getting in. Fracking is a destructive and potential dangerous and highly contentious method of extracting gas and this site will be the first of many in the United Kingdom reaching miles out under ground.

An activists got on the truck which kept moving and took hin inside the Quadrilla perimeter. The struggle against fracking in Lancashire has been going on for years. The fracking company Quadrilla is finally ready to bring in a drill tower to start drilling and anti-frackinhg activists are waiting in front of the gates to block the equipment getting in. Fracking is a destructive and potential dangerous and highly contentious method of extracting gas and this site will be the first of many in the United Kingdom reaching miles out under ground.
