Clean Air Zone In Birmingham

Clean Air Zone run by Birmingham City Council along the A38 Bristol Street in the city centre on 9th November 2023 in Birmingham, United Kingdom. The Clean Air Zone covers the city inside the inner ring road but not include the Middleway itself. A Clean Air Zone aka CAZ, is an area in selected UK cities where targeted action is taken to improve air quality. A CAZ can be non-charging or charging. Whether a vehicle is charged when entering or moving through a CAZ depends on the type of vehicle. Ultra-low-emission vehicles are not charged when entering or moving through a Clean Air Zone.
