A quartet of two singers and two musicians perform on Southwark Bridge during Thames Festival. A man playing an accordion and a guitarist accompany the two young ladies whose song is being performed in the middle of this city bridge that has been closed to traffic to host part of the annual celebration of London life and nautical culture. A life ring cover is located behind them because many attempt to take their lives in the Thames every year and in the background is the capital's newest addition to its cityscape: The Shard at London Bridge. Coloured bunting hangs from lamp posts above their heads.
