Shell Posts Quarterly Profits
As energy giant Shell reports quarterly profits of $6.2bn and oil prices are set to rise again, pressure is felt at the petrol pumps at this Shell garage in Kings Heath as the price per litre looks likely to increase adding more economic difficulty due to increased energy and fuel prices and exacerbating the cost of living crisis on 2nd November 2023 in Birmingham, United Kingdom. The World Bank issued a warning this week that the current Middle Eastern conflict could cause an increase in the price of crude oil from $85 today to $150 a barrel.
