The Dongria Kondh are a protected 'Scheduled' Caste of Original (aboriginal) people that practice animism and live a settled rural life. Their deity is a mountain from which a mining company, Vedanta is seeking to extract bauxite which will largely destroy the mountain and the Kondh's traditional way of life.
