Hundreds of protesters gathered in Whitechapel for a Palestine Day of Action to call for peace and a ceasefire in Gaza and freedom for Palestine on 20th January 2024 in East London, United Kingdom. Major demonstrations in the capital did not occur this weekend, and instead smaller protests took place adding up to many thousands of people all over the city and country to call an end to the Hamas-Israel conflict. The protest began in Whitechapel and ended in Mile End Park with further speeches.
