Beautiful Autumn colours amongst the trees surrounding the river at Tarr Steps on the River Barle on 12th November 2021 in Dulverton, United Kingdom. Owned by Exmoor National Park Authority, Tarr Steps Woodland National Nature Reserve covers 33 hectares of the River Barle valley. This is mainly sessile oak woodland, with beech, ash, sycamore, and hazel, amongst others in a wealth of plant life. It is internationally significant for the mosses, liverworts and lichens which flourish in the cool damp conditions.
