Protest In Support Of UN Special Rapporteur Francesca Albanese London

Students from the SOAS Jewish Society and supporters attend a counter-protest organised in support of UN Special Rapporteur on the Occupied Palestinian Territories OPT Francesca Albanese who had been invited to speak at the School of Oriental and African Studies on 11th November 2024 in London, United Kingdom. A protest against the event had been organised by the Campaign Against Antisemitism CAA. The Special Rapporteur is an independent expert appointed by the UN Human Rights Council to follow and report on the human rights situation in the OPT. International lawyer Francesca Albanese, who was appointed to the role in May 2022, has faced a sustained campaign to discredit her from the Israeli government and its supporters.
