Local atmosphere due to Coronavirus lockdown is felt on a street by street level as streets remain deserted on the underpass on St Chads Queensway leading to Aston Expressway as people observe the stay at home advice from the government on 7th April 2020 in Birmingham, England, United Kingdom. This area of main roads through central Birmingham is normally full of cars, but is currently eerily empty of vehicles. Coronavirus or Covid-19 is a new respiratory illness that has not previously been seen in humans. While much or Europe has been placed into lockdown, the UK government has announced more stringent rules as part of their long term strategy, and in particular social distancing.
