East Lyn River towards the centre of the village on 11th November 2021 in Lynmouth, United Kingdom. Lynmouth is a village on the northern edge of Exmoor. The village straddles the confluence of the West Lyn and East Lyn rivers, in a gorge 700 feet 210 m below Lynton. The South West Coast Path and Tarka Trail pass through Lynmouth which was made famous in when a devastating flood followed an intense storm leaving the village devastated. Overnight, over 100 buildings were destroyed or seriously damaged along with 28 of the 31 bridges. In total, 34 people died.
