Armed Metropolitan Police In London

Armed Metropolitan Police on duty inside Downing Street on 25th September 2023 in London, United Kingdom. It was reported today that some 300 officers had handed in their permits allowing them to carry weapons over the weekend following an officer being charged with the murder of Chris Kaba. The Army were briefly put on standby but have been stood down as the Met have reported that enough officers are back to duty.
