Face Masks Rules Increase Admidst Omnicron Covid-19 Variant Concerns

As fears arise due to the emergence of the new Covid-19 Omicron variant, people wearing face masks, come to the city centre retail shopping district on 30th November 2021 in Birmingham, United Kingdom. The relaxed restrictions ended today making face coverings compulsory in shops and on public transport. Despite the new rules, which come from a govenrmental level, the majority of people are not wearing masks outside in crowded shopping areas, and many still refrain from using them inside shops.
