First Day Of The Stansted 15 Activists Trial

The first day of the trial of the Stansted 15 on March 19th 2018 in Chelmsford, United Kingdom. The trial of the 15 activists is scheduled to last 6 weeks after the group of activists stopped a chartered deportation flight from Stansted airport, due to send 57 people to Nigeria and Ghana. The 15 are charged with ‘endangering an airport’ under the 1990 Aviation and Maritime Security Act and if found guilty they could face many years in prison.
